Academics

At Gardner Park Elementary, we focus on helping every student succeed in the classroom and beyond. We offer extra support in reading and math during the school day for all grade levels, with some students also receiving science tutoring. Our goal is to meet each student’s individual needs and build a strong academic foundation.

We are proud to lead the way in multi-language learning. All of our teachers are certified in this area, and other schools look to Gardner Park as a model. We also offer a special “newcomer class” to support students who are new to English, helping both students and families feel welcome and ready to learn.

Outside the classroom, students can take part in clubs and activities that build leadership and teamwork skills. Popular options include student council, robotics, Girls on the Run, Bible Club and Safety Patrol. These programs give students opportunities to grow, lead and stay connected to their school community.
